Sinopsis: 36 actores y actrices españoles se confiesan ante la cámara de Jose Luis López-Linares bajo las preguntas de Arantxa Aguirre. Desde Fernando Fernán-Gómez hasta Maribel Verdú, pasando por Javier Bardem, Jose Luis López-Vazquez o Carmen Maura, Hécuba es una reflexión sobre la realidad de los actores en España.

The actors break into the documentary genre and do some heavy stomping. Heavyweights such as Fernando Fernan Gomez, Javier Bardem, Carmen Maura, Victoria Abril, Antonio Banderas and Maribel Verdú, talk about the intricacies of the trade and contrast their experiences. The awakening of the call, the difficult beginnings, the good times and the bad times, the relationship with the public, the role of vanity, the balance of the past and dreams for the future are themes that punctuate the documentary. The film shows the contrast between the voices of veterans and the images of young theater students, for whom everything is still possible.
